I am part of a team organizing a truly unique experience coming to Calgary. Samar combines the magic of live, classical, Arabic music with improvised Middle Eastern dance before a live audience over delicious Arabic food. The event is held at the White Diamond Conference Centre in Calgary on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
Our team of organizers are looking for budding photography and/ or videography students to document the event. Unfortunately, our non-existent budget has been poured into booking the space and hiring 5 musicians (we are not getting paid either) so we have nothing to offer in exchange for services rendered apart from plenty of delicious food. We are wildly hoping that someone is looking to enhance their portfolio with some exotic, live, movement work.
We appreciate your help in spreading the message about this opportunity. We know the right person is out there that will benefit from this experience as much as we appreciate the skills they bring.
