Creating art is a therapeutic process for me, and a means to express the complex emotions I endure working as a nurse and life's misfortunes. My culture and upbringing instill the philosophy of Stoicism when it comes to coping with life's challenges. Stoics are known for not showing any emotions, especially in adversity. In my time away from work, I would escape into creating art that would communicate my feelings and hope for the future”.
